Autos are measured from the front end to back end tips plus two feet for safety.
There are 3 different trailer boat types. Each of these types pack a little different. These 3 types are listed and described below:
Campers are measured from the front end to back end tips.
V-Nosed speed boats are typically given a 2 foot packing credit from their tip to tip measurement.
Square nosed pontoons & deck boats are typically given a 1 foot tip to tip measurement credit when stored on a trailer. Inside storage without a trailer costs the same as inside storage with a trailer.
Boats with trailer tongues that can be pivoted out of the way and swim platforms that are removed by the customer are measured from the front end tip to the back end tip.
